This place was one of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed in Costa Rica. Unfortunately we arrived when the sun was going down but the sunrise was amazing. The property is beautiful and full of amazing plants. The unit itself was very clean and nice. The hosts were very friendly and kindly made a very early breakfast for us to take on the road. Definitely worth the stay!
Fantastic stay – The B&B is set in beautiful surroundings (very impressive garden!) and the lodges have everything you need for a great stay. The view from the bedroom and balcony is very nice! Many thanks Ruth & Andreas for a warm welcome and a lovely homemade breakfast!
Beautiful modern design with elegant taste and so well thought out. The breakfast was so delicious and filling, with a bit we saved for lunch. They served homemade bread and local jams, and have chickens in the back! There is a rancho where we were able to cook our dinners in the evening, so we really appreciated that. The landscaping is top notch and there are paths and walkways. Andreas is a bird watcher and sets out morning food for them. We were thrilled to sit and enjoy watching and talking birds with him. We will definitely come back to stay next time!!
What a great stay! We had an amazing time at Ruth & Andreas’ place. Its very peaceful with amazing views, great windows to see the whole valley and botanical garden right from your bed. They were super friendly and prepared for us a very tasty breakfast with homemade bread 🙂 As it was our honeymoon they even prepared a little surprise for us. They had lots of recommendations what to see around. Last but not least we saw a great deal of species of birds in the morning!
Because of the big delay in our flight, we arrived at their place around 02:00 am approximately. Ruth and Andreas stayed awake for us and welcomed us warmly. The room is in the middle of paradise literally. It was very clean, has modern facilities. They have provided us with a delicious breakfast in their private balcony. Ruth and Andreas are very friendly and welcoming. We had a great time there, and we highly recommend their place!!!
The place is in a beautiful location and the views are amazing. Great place to just unwind, Ruth and Andreas are very responsive hosts and made the whole experience very relaxed and easy. The all the main windows give you a great view and is amazing to wake up to! The room comes well equipped with glasses, coffee machine and fridge. The communal cooking area/ranch is also very well equipped with microwave and plug in rings, not to mention welcome book gives suggestions for local area.
Finca Chiribita is a excellent place to relax and enjoy the wonderful garden (worth walking through it and discover all the flowers, birds, butterflies). You can watch the birds right in front of the breakfast area. The host is very helpful and makes wonderful breakfasts – we enjoyed 3 different kinds during our stay.
Coming from Tortuguero we found it the perfect spot to relax and to enjoy a completely different mountain side of Costa Rica. We took some hikes in the area and enjoyed the hot springs of Hacienda Orosi almost alone – man made pools with a great view!
Best place in Costa Rica we stayed at – great hosts that cook the most amazing breakfast – both Costa Rican and Swiss styles, with jams made from their own fruit gardens and eggs from their own chickens. Some of the best food we had during our 10 day visit all around the country. The places have an amazing view and are also exceptionally neat and clean. A hidden gem for sure!
The Bungalow and the view is even more spectacular in person! After being warmly greeted by Ruth and Andreas, we settled in. Everything spotless, clean and beautiful. Their booklet (in several languages) suggests a pizzeria in Orosi that’s wonderful. And the delicious breakfast was beyond our expectations! If only we were able to stay longer to thoroughly enjoy this area (- a return trip is absolutely necessary.) Thank you for sharing your finca in paradise!
This place felt like home! We were welcomed with fresh Costa Rican coffee and a Swiss treat. The bungalows are modern and the view is stunning! Even breakfast is included, freshly served and rich in variety. Ruth and Andreas were always available for questions and even took care to book the tours in the area that we wanted to attend. It was an amazing experience and I would come back anytime! Thanks 🙂
